Symbiosis (2007)

In Symbiosis, the artist turns inward, transforming the human head into a landscape of interconnection. A tree grows from within, its roots drawing from a pool of water while its branches reach toward the light. A bird hovers at the mouth, sustained by the tongue shaped pool of water. Clouds drift through the scene, blurring the line between inner life and outer world. The painting suggests that thought, body, and nature are inseparable—a cycle of giving and receiving, where survival depends on balance. At once dreamlike and symbolic, the work reflects on the fragile harmony of existence.
