A Family Portrait (AFAM) (2026)

As an immigrant from Southeast Asia myself with relatives in mixed relationships, this is my attempt at exploring that specific dynamic. I gave the figures an equally exaggerated treatment to emphasize the psychological, physical, and emotional weight of their differences. Yet, despite those disparities, they exist in a complex mix of companionship, support, and necessity.
